my 10th birthday!

today is my 10th birthday! i've had lots of these special days so they feel pretty ordinary now. mommy and daddy gave me lots of extra headrubs and a bunch of treats too. the romaine lettuce i've been eating has been extra delicious lately. sometimes when I eat lettuce, all the juice drips into the bowl and then i can drink it after! but sometimes it doesn't go in the bowl and then the floor gets all wet. mommy told everyone on youtubes i got lettuce juice all over the baseboards. she said she's happy as long as i'm not biting the baseboards. hrumph. i haven't done that since i was a baby! this year, instead of making me a 10, daddy suggested that mommy cut me an X. they told me it means the same thing.

i'm 8 years old today!

mommy and daddy didn't spend a lot of time at home today, so i wasn't feeling very well for my birthday. i barely saw them this morning and then they left for many hours. when they came home in the middle of the day, i hid and wouldn't come out even when mommy started calling me and coaxing me. eventually, mommy was able to lure me out with some freshly washed romaine lettuce and some pellets. she also made me my cardboard 8! i started feeling a tiny bit happier.



later on in the evening, i got an extra helping of pellets in my bowl. and after dinner, i even got a little piece of dried papaya as my birthday treat! i'm super happy and relaxed now. i guess i had a good birthday after all.

how i celebrated my first birthday!

mommy and daddy bought me lots of presents for my first birthday! daddy held me tightly as mommy took out all my presents and set them on the couch.



then daddy set me down and let me explore all my new things...



lulu was jealous, i think. she wanted to play too but daddy wouldn't let her.



mommy made me a cardboard "1" and it made me so happy i had to bite it up.



then for some reason, i got mad at the "1"... grrrr, i was so angry.



then i threw everything off the couch. i liked my new stuff better on the ground. mommy would put it all back and i would toss it down again. it didn't belong. hmph.



finally, mommy and daddy got the hint and moved everything away so i could get some rest.



i can't believe i'm already a year old!

happy birthday to me!

today is my birthday! i'm 1 year old today! mommy fed me my favourite hay right at the stroke of midnight and i gobbled it up, piece by delicious piece.

eeps! mommy and daddy are making me go to bed now because they say i'm still too young to stay up this late. daddy and i played my favourite game, chase the bunny, for a long time tonight. he foiled me by blocking my secret resting spot so i got extra tired from running... that's cheating if you ask me.

after daddy scooped me up, he and mommy said we'll celebrate more later today and on the weekend too. hooray, i can't wait!

hooray! mommy and daddy celebrated my birthday today. they say i'm 6 months old! mommy bought me some delicious hay and i couldn't stop eating it.







mommy bought me some organic vegetables from whole foods to try... parsley, basil, and carrots. yuck! i didn't like any of them. she said she would try dandelion, mint, and coriander next.



daddy bought me a big log house and i love it very much. i can sniff it, bite it, run through it, and sit on it. it's super nice.
