today i met lulu

it's been a busy week for mommy, daddy, and me. last weekend, my hoomans... erg, parents... were acting very strange. they left for pretty much the whole day and i barely got a chance to wish mommy a happy mother's day! they left me in my playpen, which was extra weird because i'm hardly ever in there during the day. then they came home and put on the ground a very stinky thing that moved a lot. apparently this stinky thing called lulu was supposed to be my doggy friend. yeah, right.

anyway, here i am the day before lulu came to live with us. i love sitting on the couch. i can see and hear everything around me. mommy says i have a little smirk on my face in these photos. :)



the day lulu came home was very stressful. she was not only bouncy (i think she thinks she's a bunny) but she was LOUD too. and a little annoying. but then she fell asleep in her crate and mommy let me out so i went immediately to sniff her. i smelled danger so i was on high alert.







this is what i saw as i (carefully) walked by.



when lulu finally woke up, she wanted to play with my rope toy. i don't really like that toy too much so i let her.




i guess she's kinda cute but she smells really bad. and goes potty everywhere! doesn't she know where the litter box is?




after we spent a little while in the living room together, we felt a lot more comfortable with each other!




i ventured out but was still a little wary. she was sound asleep so i got to play all my favourite games outside my playpen like i normally would.



eventually she got up and moved... only to go back to sleep again... this time, in a funny position! hehe, she's funny.



and that was the day i met lulu!
